Annual and Endowed Scholarships

Anderson Family Scholarship Margaret and Harold Anderson firmly believed in the power of education and provided each of their children a college education of their choice. Margaret loved every minute of her 40-year teaching career. The Anderson family, in memory of Margaret, now wishes to extend their help to a student who will become a PK-12 teacher. The scholarship is awarded to a junior or senior education major from Wisconsin with a minimum GPA of 2.75. Melvin LeRoy Anderson Scholarship Melvin “Pic” Anderson was a junior at Stout in 1942 when he joined the Marine Corps and served as a pilot in the Mid Pacific during World War II. He died July 8, 1945, while in service. His wife, Maxine, established this unrestricted scholarship fund in his memory. The annual award are $1,200. Danielle Annunziata Brie Musgrave Chase Heim Lily Nordskog Cory Hoglund Benjamin Odrich Peter Kartje Ian Williams Anonymous Donor Scholarship This scholarship was established by a UW-Stout graduate who understands the value of a university degree. Criteria for the scholarship includes: junior or senior construction major who has an interest in commercial construction, 3.3 GPA and financial need. The annual award is $1,000. Ryan Arts Applied Math & Computer Science 50th Anniversary Endowed Scholarship The Applied Math & Computer Science 50th Anniversary Scholarship honors the foresight and success of the program. More than ten programs and concentrations have spun-off from Applied Math & Computer Science since its inception in 1967. Generous contributions from alumni established this scholarship to honor the history of the Applied Math & Computer Science program and invest in its future. The annual award is $1,000.
