Annual and Endowed Scholarships

Wisconsin License Plate Scholarship This scholarship is funded by those individuals who have purchased a UW-Stout license plate. A portion of the license plate fee is allocated to the university and provides these scholarship funds for Wisconsin residents with financial need. The annual awards are $500. Emily Holze Hailee Mackoway Preston Pope Lois Wood Endowed Scholarship Sam Wood, former assistant chancellor for Student Services, established this scholarship in honor of his wife for her many contributions to the life and activities of UW-Stout students. The scholarship is awarded to a family and consumer sciences education major. The annual award is $500. Karan Storlie Samuel E. Wood Student Senate Endowed Scholarship Sam Wood, former assistant chancellor for Student Services, served for many years as the adviser for the Stout Student Association. In recognition of his many years of service, Scott Cabot, a former SSA president, and his mother, Frances Cabot, created this scholarship to recognize Dean Wood and to assist an officer, director or senator member of SSA to more readily afford a Stout education. The annual award is $1,100. Deon Canon Xcel Energy Scholarship Xcel Energy has been a major influence at the university as one of the three associates in the Stout Technology Park. They continue to support Stout Students by providing unrestricted scholarships. The annual awards are $500. Briley Hansen Alexis Vrieze
