EVCO Plastics – Plastics Engineering Scholarship At EVCO Plastics, we push boundaries – in plastics, precision, performance, and most importantly, with people. We’re passionate about arming the next generation of innovative plastics engineers with the tools they need to continue to push the limits of what plastics can be. The Plastics Engineering Scholarship will be awarded to a full-time Plastics Engineering major with a GPA of 3.0 and above, preferably with ties to either Dane or Columbia county. Most importantly, this person will demonstrate innovative thinking and is dedicated to pursuing a career in the plastics industry. The annual award is $1,500. Nicholas Riley Wesley L. Face Endowed Scholarship This scholarship was created in memory of Wesley Face who served as an educator and administrator at UW-Stout for many years. He strove to create a positive learning environment in his capacity as an instructor and was given the Outstanding Teacher Award for his efforts. He continued to promote a positive environment in his administrative position as vice chancellor. Face felt it was important for people to be actively involved in helping society in the broader community as well as the Stout community. This scholarship is awarded to a student who shows a sense of service to others. The annual award is $900. Rebecca Schipper Kim Raenae Falk Endowed Scholarship Kim Raenae Fruit Falk BS ’84, MS ’86 was a well-known watercolor artist, workshop instructor and owner of Kim’s Valley Arts. She died from pancreatic cancer in 2002. Her enthusiasm for her art and love of sharing touched many lives. The scholarship was established by family and friends to be awarded to an art major in need of financial assistance. The annual award is $500. Remington Ruplinger Mary K. Smrcina Felkner Endowed Scholarship Mary attended Stout in the early 1960s. This scholarship was set up by her in appreciation for her UW-Stout life, friendships formed and educational growth the Stout experience gave her. The annual award is $1,000. Jewel Ryan
