2020 Scholarship Reception Booklet

Tom Fleming Endowed Scholarship Tom Fleming was chairman of the English Department at UW-Stout at the time of his death in 1962. His mother established this unrestricted scholarship in his memory. The annual award is $300. Cal Hammen 40th Reunion (Classes of 1966-1970) Endowed Scholarship Funding for this scholarship is from the classes of 1966-1970 who celebrated their 40th reunion the fall of 2007. Through the generosity of Stephen ‘67 and Barbara Burke, the endowment was fulfilled in 2010. The scholarship is awarded to a full-time undergraduate student with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Involvement in extracurricular and/or community activities and financial need are also requirements. The annual award is $1,500. Rachel Gilpatrick Foundation Board Scholarship The Foundation Board Scholarship was established through donations from former Stout Foundation board members to assist students with the pursuit of their university degree. The scholarship is unrestricted. The annual award is $300. Katy Liester Fox Valley Chapter IoPP Scholarship This packaging scholarship for UW-Stout is IoPP’s way of supporting and promoting students entering the packaging industry. IoPP feels it is important to promote higher education in this field. Companies across the Fox Valley area also realize this need and provide funds to the Fox Valley IoPP Chapter to make a scholarship available. The scholarship is awarded to a packaging major from the Fox Valley region. The annual award is $1,000. Michael Cops
