Dr. Amy L. Gillett Graduate Endowed Scholarship Dr. Amy L. Gillett was part of UW-Stout from 1990 to 2015, she held positions as a professor, program director, and Interim Director of Graduate Studies. This scholarship was established to encourage graduate studies and is given to a graduate student enrolled in at least six graduate credits, with an average G.P.A of 3.0 or higher. The annual award is $1,500. Andrea Bertram Dr. Douglas D. Gingrich Endowed Scholarship Dr. Douglas Gingrich is a former UW-Stout professor. He established this fund to assist a psychology major who is a Wisconsin resident with a GPA of 3.0 or higher and financial need. The annual award is $800. Ariel Schaefer Golf Course Owners of Wisconsin Scholarship The Golf Course Owners of Wisconsin (GCOW) is an association that supports golf course owners and operators in the state of Wisconsin. The mission of the GCOW is to provide education and advocacy on behalf of its members and to promote golf throughout the state of Wisconsin. The GCOW, established as a nonprofit association in 1984, is a member of the National Golf Course Owners Association. The scholarships support golf enterprise management students with a minimum GPA of 2.5 and who are Wisconsin residents. Recipients should currently work in a golf-related industry. The annual award is $500. Jason Bach John and Louise Gomulak Endowed Scholarship This scholarship is sponsored by daughter, Charlotte “Gomulak” Lee and Howard Lee both Stout graduates in honor and memory of her parents who believed in public education. John and Louise Gomulak attended one room country schools, were brought up during the depression and tried to do the best for their five girls. John worked in the Civilian Conservation Corp and served during the second world war. They married in 1944 and farmed in Osceola Wisconsin. John was a hard- working carpenter and Louise worked at home and as a visiting home health aid. Three of the five Gomulak girls attended and met their husbands at Stout. The scholarship is for a first-generation student with demonstrated financial need. The annual award is $1,100. Danielle Juris
