Jeannette Slamen Houle Endowed Scholarship Jeannette Slamen Houle received a degree in family and consumer educational services from UW-Stout in 1939. She designated funds to UW-Stout to assist family and consumer sciences education majors. The annual award is $1,200. Kylie Amundson House Specialties Scholarship House Specialities Inc. was created in 1981 by Deanna House, a 1961 Stout graduate, and her husband, George, to publish cookbooks written by Deanna. The scholarship is awarded to a junior or senior with a 3.0 or above GPA in one of the following majors: food science and technology; dietetics; hotel, restaurant and tourism management or education. The annual award is $2,500. Preston Johnston John and Marjory Hovelsrud Endowed Scholarship John Hovelsrud passed away in 1995 and, in memory of his successes in sales and marketing, family and friends established this scholarship for a student who is a senior. The annual award is $500. Mary Benetti Barbara Dramburg Howard Dietetics Endowed Scholarship This scholarship was established through a bequest from Barbara Dramburg Howard, a 1964 UW-Stout graduate. It is awarded to a dietetics major with a preference given to a student completing an internship. The annual award is $1,400. Samantha Angell H. Edwin Howe Scholarship H. Edwin Howe, a 1942 Stout graduate, was a professor in the printing department at Cal Poly Tech, San Luis Obispo, for many years.
