Annual and Endowed Scholarships

Paul Frederick Kabot Memorial Endowed Scholarship This scholarship was established in memory of Paul Frederick Kabot (October 13, 1911 to September 24, 1933) by his brother Byron Kabot (now deceased). Paul was an excellent student, championship golfer, a gentle man, much loved son and brother who passed away in his senior year of medical school at the University of Minnesota. The scholarship is awarded to students with outstanding academic records and demonstrated financial need. Priority is given to students enrolled in a pre-medical course of study. The annual award is $2,100. Jasmyn Collins Kainski Freshman Scholarship Drs. Mercedes and John Kainski were both UW-Stout faculty. They funded the scholarship to assist an incoming freshman with potential and financial need. The annual award is $300. Katy Liester Jessie May Erlin Kaiser Endowed Scholarship A 1911 Stout graduate, Jessie Kaiser established this scholarship fund to assist students in one of the following majors: dietetics; food science and technology; early childhood education; family and consumer sciences education; hotel, restaurant and tourism management; human development and family studies; psychology; or vocational rehabilitation. The annual award is $600. Zachary Fox John J. and Mary L. Kay-Heisler Education Endowed Scholarship The John J. and Mary L. Kay-Heisler Scholarship is in appreciation of Mary’s 1956 UW-Stout BS in Home Economics Education degree. John and Mary established this education scholarship in gratitude of the education and mentoring she received from her professors in family and consumer science, which allowed her to excel in her UW-County Extension career. The scholarship is awarded to a full-time education major. The annual awards are $1,000 each. Megan Hoffman Kayla Jellison
