2020 Scholarship Reception Booklet

Esther and Herman Kolbenschlag Endowed Scholarship Wawa Kolbenschlag Thorson established this scholarship in memory and honor of her parents. She appreciated their love and guidance and the education which enabled her to be self sufficient and productive. Eligible majors include early childhood education; family and consumer sciences education; hotel, restaurant and tourism management and psychology. The annual awards vary. Tom was a Stout graduate and long-time member and past President of the Foundation Board of Directors. Morley was in retail sales management and a very strong believer in community service. This scholarship is awarded to a junior or senior student who is in retail merchandising and management with a GPA of 3.5 or above. Preference is given to a student demonstrating financial need and shows active involvement in community service. The annual award is $1,000. Katie Lawler Tom and Vicky Kornegor Packaging Scholarship Tom Kornegor is a 1968 UW-Stout graduate and is retired as director of package engineering at 3M, St. Paul, Minn. The Kornegors fund this scholarship to assist deserving junior or senior packaging majors. The annual awards are $1,000 each. Rayna Figueroa Chris Kelley
