2021 Spring Commencement

Harvey Hall The historic Harvey Hall reopened on September 22, 2016, after a $28 million renovation. Harvey Hall was named the Domestic Science Building when it opened in 1916 and then the Home Economics Building. It was renamed in 1952 for Lorenzo Dow Harvey, the school’s first president from 1908 to 1922. The building, the third academic structure on campus, was erected while Harvey was president. The project is the second phase of the building’s renovation. Harvey Hall Theatre reopened in April 2011 after a $5.6 million upgrade. Actor James Whitmore, presidential hopeful John F. Kennedy and the Vienna Boys Choir are just some of the well-known people and performers who have appeared on stage at historic Harvey Hall Theatre at UW-Stout.
