Schedule a Visit uwstout.edu/Visit Weekday Visits In-person and virtual visits are available Monday-Friday. Visits run two hours and start at 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Academic Visits Mondays–Thursdays we offer academic visits tailored to the student’s career cluster of interest. Students receive an overview of majors within the cluster, take a campus tour and engage in an academic experience. This could include meeting with a professor, touring a department or connecting with a student program ambassador. Campus Preview & Transfer Days / Stout Saturdays Visits include an informational fair where students learn about housing, dining and life on campus; an admissions overview; a student panel and a student-guided walking tour and optional 1:1 transfer meeting. Campus Preview Days also include an academic expo and facility tours.

UW-Stout reviews applications using a holistic approach. Each application will receive thorough review from a team of professional admissions staff. Students must submit the following: • UW-System Application available at apply.wisconsin.edu • Official high school transcript (with graduation date) • Official college transcripts from all previous schools Some of our academic majors have additional requirements to be admitted directly into the major. Review majors and requirements at uwstout.edu/Requirements . Next Steps for Admitted Students Students that opt in for text messaging will receive a text message from the UW-Stout Admissions Team with their admission decision! Once admitted, transfer credit will move into a queue to be processed and posted. Once complete, students hear from our Transfer Coordinators with information about their official Transfer Credit Report and next steps to prepare for enrollment. Prior Learning Credit Don’t forget that learning outside of a traditional academic environment may count toward college credit.
