The Disability Services (DS) Of ce collaborates with the University in its commitment to recognize disability as a valued aspect of diversity and to embrace access to the University of Wisconsin – Stout community as a matter of equity and inclusion. The of ce provides the University with resources, education, and direct services to design a more welcoming and inclusive environment.
Steps to Equal Access
Values
Students will meet with a Disability Services staff member to have a conversation about the barriers experienced in the learning and/or living environments. The information shared is the cornerstone in determining means of equal access. In addition, written documentation of disability is required to support the student’s information. Specific documentation guidelines are available at: www.uwstout.edu/disability-services/guidelines
