Xanthi Gerasimo ‘13

Xanthi is back with Honors, working as our Advisor and ushering more and more stu- dents through the program to graduation. She recently retired from actively playing rugby after a few years playing in the Wom- en’s Premier League (which is made up of the top 10 teams in the nation). She is now focused on coaching and growing her mar- tial arts school. She lives near Menomonie on her family farm.

Taylor Gerou ‘18

Megan Hondl ‘17 Megan Hondle (center) currently lives in Richmond, Virginia, and works for the Vir- ginia House Democratic Caucus as the Cam- paigns Director for the 2019 election cycle. Megan’s Honors College Memory “My favorite Honors College memory was traveling to Salt Lake City, Utah, to attend the Parliament of the World’s Religions. A small group of students attended it with Professor Salt and we all learned way more than we ever thought we would. I would never have gotten that opportunity outside of the Honors College.”

Taylor Gerou (left) is a Graphic Design and Interactive Media graduate of Spring 2018. She is currently working in Burns- ville,Minnesota, for Skyline Displays Mid- west. Taylor is an exhibit designer for the company. They design tradeshow booths for companies ranging from small start- ups to largescale Fortune 500 companies. She designs the three-dimensional layouts and structures of the booths, as well as the graphics and other custom elements that go into the exhibit.

Xanthi’s Honors College Memory “My favorite memory from honors… Two come to mind. Doc Bob always calling me ‘X Woman’ unless we were in class, where he called everyone by their last names – none of us knew each other’s first names, which made interacting outside the class room hilarious. There was a colloquium book that my friend Kat and I shared, meaning we read the whole thing out loud to each other, and it had a pile of European last names that we took turns attempting to pronounce, without success.”

Taylor’s Honors College Memory “My favorite college experience was spend- ing time in the MSC. It’s always so full of life. Whether hanging with friends, grab- bing food, swing dancing or staying there till midnight doing homework, it never disappoints.”
