species in other areas. However, the allelopathic characteristics of L. multiflorum may also inhibit the germination of native prairie seeds if seeded at the same time. Due to the small size of any germinating prairie species, we were unable to include them in our survey. In the future, we will continue to monitor the site to track the success of the prairie seeding. We will differentiate between native and non-native species in our investigation of the effects of the cover crops and A. petiolata on species richness.
