Room selection times are based on when you sign your Housing and Dining Contract and submit your pre-payment. The earlier you complete your contract and pre-payment, the earlier your room selection time will be.

Board of Regents’ Housing Policy When signing your housing contract, please keep in mind the University of Wisconsin Board of Regents’ Housing Policy. Students are required to live on campus their first two years after high school, unless they are exempt from the policy below:

Those freshman and sophomore students (59 credits or less) who are not veterans, married or living with parents or legal guardians (within a 40-mile driving distance of Menomonie), shall be required to live in a university- operated residence hall.
