Kelly Mayer ’04 is project and stakeholder support catalyst at Whole Foods Market in Austin, Texas. Laura Knudsen ’05 joined the Diabetes Education and Nutrition departments at Mayo Clinic Health System-Red Cedar in Menomonie. Joel Bernstein ’06 is a senior software engineer at Digimarc in Beaverton, Ore. Michelle Jensen ’06 received her full professional counseling license. Richard Tepler ’75 authored “Cook with Me, Croix Holland.” Jan (Every) Fink ’76 retired on March 31, 2017, after 27 years in child and youth services for the Department of the Army at Fort McCoy. She received a Department of the Army Superior Civilian Service Award for her career accomplishments, which significantly improved the quality of life for military families. Susan May ’78 MS ’91 was appointed to the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center’s board of directors . Rebecca Bell ’79 was named Best Attorney in Golden Valley, Minn., four times by the Sun Post. 1980s Wayne Hoffman ’80 returned from retirement to become the new part-time technology education teacher at Stockbridge Public Schools in the Fox Cities. Jeffrey Kluever ’80 was appointed executive director of Business Health Care Group. Deb Lancello ’80 is the production accountant for the NBC/Universal TV show “Chicago Med” for the second season. Daniel Menden ’83 retired from Harley Davidson in August 2016 and now works as founder and managing director of Mensch Learning Solutions, a training consulting firm. Karen Hague ’83 joined Grocery Outlet in Emeryville, Calif., as vice president of human resources. Barbara Lohse ’84 was appointed as first head of the Wegmans School of Health and Nutrition and professor of health sciences at the Rochester Institute of Technology. 5 David Wiedner ’84 is senior product architect at LimoLink Inc. in Marion, Iowa. Jay Link ’90, owner of Link’s Wild Safaris, was awarded the Pantheon award at the 2017 GSCO Slam Quest Convention in Las Vegas. He is the 11th individual and youngest recipient of the award. 1 Tom Malmstadt ’90 was appointed executive director of the United Way of Sheboygan County.
