WIAC Hall of Fame Inductees Three Blue Devils named to Class of 2025

hree Blue Devils were named to the Wiscon sin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference’s 2025 Hall of Fame class. The 25-member class joins a prestigious list that includes 114 members and represents the premier NCAA Division III conference.

WIAC inducts members every three years. This year’s Hall of Fame Banquet was hosted at UW-Stout on July 26.

Amy Jamieson, Basketball, Tennis and Softball (1994-1997)

She is the only known UW-Stout student athlete to earn All-Conference Honors in three sports in one academic year. In 1997, she helped the Blue Devils win their first-ever women’s basketball WIAC conference title, was the No. 1 tennis doubles conference champion and was a softball NFCA All-Midwest Region Second Team selection. She was inducted into the UW-Stout Athletics Hall of Fame in 2009. Ben Knepper, Football (2000-2003) One of the most decorated offensive linemen in program history, he was a two-time All-American and All-Confer ence First Team selection in 2002 and 2003. During his last two years, he went more than 700 consecutive plays without allowing a sack. He played in the 2003 Aztec Bowl and was selected to the WIAC Centennial All-Time football team in 2012. He was inducted into the UW-Stout Athletics Hall of Fame in 2014. He started the men’s program while still a student in 1962 and turned the program into a national contender. He was named the national coach of the year and the conference coach of the year in 1984 and 1992. Among his many NAIA, NCAA and NCGA All-Americans were seven indi vidual national champions and numerous All-Conference gymnasts. The men’s team placed in the top four of the NAIA Championship every year from 1970-1983. He was inducted into the UW-Stout Athletics Hall of Fame in 2000.
