Solar Panels We have a solar array on the roof of Merle Price Commons and we’re working on adding more renewable energy projects!

Bike Friendly League of American Bicyclists have designated UW-Stout a Bike Friendly University.

Connect with our Sustainability Office, join a sustainability organization, volunteer at the campus garden, or participate in sustainability events.

GETTING WHERE YOU NEED GO > We offer many transportation programs for students to get where they need to go.

• Carbon Neutrality UW-Stout is a signatory of the Carbon Commitment, an effort to address climate change by committing our campus to neutralizing our greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. • Green Fee Student-approved funds that support sustainability initiatives across campus like solar panels or energy efficient lighting. • Recycling & Compositing UW-Stout is the only UW school to offer campus-wide compost and recycling collection with compost and recycling bins in all buildings.

• UW-Sprout Campus Garden A garden that generates vegetables, berries, and herbs. Student jobs are available each year. • Green to Go Reusable to-go food containers that help you to reduce your landfilled waste. • Building Dashboard UW-Stout offers the Building Dashboard to showcase real-time

Parking Permits If you need to drive, parking permits are available for students. Students who don’t need a year-long permit can purchase daily, weekly and semester parking permits.
