Campus Visits For students considering a change in academic pursuits or seeking a dynamic environment to further their education, embark on a journey of possibilities and explore the vibrant campus life at the University of Wisconsin-Stout. Learn more uwstout.edu/Visit Weekday Campus Visits In-person visits run two-hour durations, starting at 9:00 a.m and 1:00 p.m. During these visits, students have the opportunity to meet with a transfer counselor and embark on a guided tour. Academic Visits From Monday to Thursday, we offer specialized academic visits tailored to the student’s chosen career cluster. Participants can gain insights into majors within the cluster, tour the campus, and partake in an academic experience. This may involve a meeting with a professor, a departmental tour, or an interaction with a student program ambassador. Campus Preview & Transfer Days/Stout Saturdays These visits include an informational fair where students learn about housing, dining and life on campus as well as an optional one-on-one meeting with a transfer counselor. Campus Preview Days also include an academic expo and facility tours. Other Ways to Connect We would like to connect with your students! UW-Stout reviews applications using a holistic approach. Each application will receive thorough review from a team of professional admissions staff. Students must submit the following: • UW-System Application available at apply.wisconsin.edu • Official high school transcript (with graduation date) • Official college transcripts from all previous schools Some of our academic majors have additional requirements to be admitted directly into the major. Review majors and requirements at uwstout.edu/Requirements Next Steps for Admitted Students Students that opt in for text messaging will receive a text message from the UW-Stout Admissions Team with their admission decision! Once admitted, your transfer credit will move into a queue to be processed and posted. Once complete, you’ll hear from our Transfer Coordinator with information about your official Transfer Credit Report, and next steps to prepare for enrollment.
