Insider Tip Room selection is after First Year Registration & Orientation, so take an opportunity to meet potential roommates at FYRO before you select your room.

Roommates Without a doubt, you’re going to create friendships at Stout that last a lifetime— through industry-sponsored projects, during open lab hours, in student organizations—and if you’re looking to kickoff your Stout adventure with a roommate or in a dedicated learning community, you can do that, too. In early/mid March you can start using the roommate finder tool to help you connect with a potential roomie. If you already have a roommate in mind, whoever is higher in queue for room selection can reserve the hall and room for both of you. If you don’t have a roommate or would rather have a “random” roommate, that’s great! Look for a half open room during your selection time and select a roommate that way!
