Even before signing your housing and dining contract, you can explore your accommodation and dining options. Our housing team works tirelessly to ensure life out of class is unforgettable no matter where you live, but if you’re coming to Stout with a roommate or looking for a specific learning community, a little planning will make sure you’re ready for room selection. What to Expect • Early/Mid-March : Look for room selection instructions in your UW-Stout email, if you’ve signed your housing contract. Step 3: Select Your Room After completing First-Year Registration & Orientation, it’s time to make your room selection. Sign up with a friend, someone you met at FYRO, or use our roommate finder tool! What to Expect • Late June/Early July : Room selection opens on the Housing Gateway.
