UW-Stout Housing Booklet Fall

Step 4: Prepare for Arrival The start of the school year is just around the corner, so it’s probably time to start thinking about what you’ll need to bring to campus. What to Expect • Mid/Late July : Directions to schedule your move-in time are on the way, including information on early arrival and general arrival options. Step 5: Get Ready to Move In! Driving into Menomonie, your Stout experience begins as soon as the iconic clocktower comes into view. You’ll pass rows of flags and banners emblazoned with the Stout S as you arrive at your designated check-in location. Up next, you’ll pull up to your residence hall and enter the main lobby of your new home using your Stout BlueCard for the first time—the first of many firsts yet to come. Get ready to unpack, settle in, and do more on day one. What to Expect • Early August : You’ll receive move-in instructions specific to your early or general arrival date and time. • General Move-In Week: Saturday, August 22- Sunday, August 30 • After moving in, you can stay on campus throughout the rest of Move-In Week; however, most students leave campus and return for Week One Orientation on Sunday, August 30 between 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m
