UW-Stout is approximately 60 minutes from the metropolitan center of Minneapolis-St. Paul. Students can fly into the Minneapolis-St. Paul (MSP) International Airport and take a shuttle bus to Menomonie, WI. The University of Wisconsin-Stout is nestled in the heart of the Midwest in the downtown area of Menomonie, WI. The campus offers breathtaking views of the 1009-acre (408 hectares) Lake Menomin. With a low cost of living, low crime, access to a leading healthcare network, and an excellent K-12 school system, the town has a lot to offer.
