Leadership Opportunities Whether you’re an established leader or still emerging, you can distinguish your drive to do more in the Stout Student Association, by leading a student org or through the BOLD (Building Opportunities for Leadership Development) Project and other campus initiatives, including conferences, events, and service projects led by students. Social Advocacy Join campus advocacy efforts, network with national leaders, and fight for the issues and individuals who most need your help. Our SPEAK UP (Social Justice Programming, Engagement, Action, Knowledge & Understanding People) Program will keep you at the heart of the conversation, so you can make a difference. Sustainability Efforts From serving on campuswide sustainability committees to proposing sustainability projects that have reduced energy costs, students play a huge role in UW-Stout’s national recognition for energy efficiency and sustainability. The Stout Student Association works directly with administration, Universities of Wisconsin leadership, and city and county government to represent student voices on committees and lobby on student issues.
