Annual and Endowed Scholarships

Jeremy Eckerman Memorial Scholarship This scholarship was established in memory of Jeremy Eckerman by his family and Affiliated Construction Services (ACS). Jeremy passed away in July of 2006. He was a 2002 UW-Stout graduate and was working at ACS at the time of his death. The scholarship assists a junior or senior construction management major with a minimum GPA of 2.5 and who is a Wisconsin resident. The annual award is $300. Jacob Breuer Eugene W. Else Memorial Scholarship Family and friends have established a scholarship in memory of Eugene W. Else. A lifelong resident of the Watertown area, Eugene always encouraged his children to further their education and to give back to the community. Preference is given to a military veteran who graduated from the Watertown High School with a 3.0 or above GPA and attends UW-Stout as a full-time student who attends classes on campus. The annual award is $1,000. Elizabeth Oswald John K. and Christine M. Enger First Amendment Scholarship John Enger retired as the executive director of University Relations at UW-Stout and was employed at the university for 36 years. Christine, a 1973 Stout graduate, served as the assistant director in the Financial Aid Office, retiring in September of 2004. The scholarship requires financial need and the completion of an essay on one of the five rights of the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. The annual award is $500. Anna Korieshkova John Entorf Scholarship The family and friends of John Entorf, a former assistant dean of the College of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, established this scholarship to benefit a student who most typifies John’s dedication and commitment to technology and education. The scholarship is awarded to a junior or senior engineering technology or manufacturing engineering major with a 3.5 or above GPA, and who has completed an internship. The annual award is $700.
