Russell J. Lasocki Endowed Scholarship Russell Lasocki, a 1981 UW-Stout graduate, was a loyal employee of the university for 20 years as a member of the Instructional Technology Services Department. He passed away in 2001 from cancer, and friends and family members established this scholarship in his memory. The scholarship is awarded to a junior or senior information technology management major with a 2.5 or above GPA and financial need. The annual award is $500. Nicole Dowland Harold and Helen Lee Endowed Scholarship This scholarship was established to honor Harold and Helen Lee who believed in the education of their children. Helen was a seamstress, and Harold was a shipfitter and controller of planning in Hawaii. The scholarship provides support for an undergraduate or graduate student in family and consumer sciences education, technology education or career and technical education. The annual award is $1,000. Danielle Schott Howard and Charlotte Gomulak Lee Endowed Scholarship Recognizing the importance of education and feeling a responsibility to provide assistance to those with great need, Howard and Charlotte Lee have established this endowed scholarship fund. The scholarship is awarded to a first-generation minority student with demonstrated financial need. The annual award is $1,200 Nou Lor Howard and Charlotte Lee Education Endowed Scholarship Howard ’68 & ’69 and Charlotte (Gomulak) ’68 & ’69 and their three sons; Nathan ’97, Sheldon ’98 and Jonathan ’01 all graduated from UW-Stout. Howard served in a number of leadership and teaching capacities on the Stout campus from 1986- 2009. Howard and Charlotte believe in the need for Family and Consumer Science and Technology Education. This scholarship has been established for a financially deserving student with a GPA of 2.8 or higher. The scholarship will be awarded to a student majoring in Family and Consumer Science or Technology Education during their sophomore year, renewable their junior year if they meet the scholarship criteria.
