Billy D. and Diana L. Schultz Endowed Scholarship After a four-year commitment (66-70) in the U.S. Navy, Bill (BS 73), using the G.I. bill, returned to UW-Stout with determination to earn a degree in Marketing and Distributive Education and graduate with zero student loan debt. Bill met Diana while attending Stout, and they married in 1974. With his degree, Bill launched a career in sales, retiring from Johnson & Johnson. Both Bill and Diane understand the value of a scholarship and the economic support it can provide to the student. This scholarship is awarded to a full-time junior or senior in a marketing or business education major with a 2.5 or above GPA who demonstrates financial need with a preference to an active member of the Marketing and Business Education Association (MBEA) or Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA). If there are no such qualified applicants, the scholarship s awarded to any junior or senior applicant with a 2.5 or above GPA with demonstrated financial need. The annual award is $1,000. Gavin Raph Teresa M. Schulz Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management Dr. Thomas C. Padron ’97, 04’ UW-Stout alumnus established this scholarship in honor of Teresa M. Schulz, UW-Stout alumna, retired professor and program director for the Hospitality and Tourism program. “Teresa was integral in his accomplishments as a student and as a hospitality professional. She was a caring and compassionate mentor, who instilled in him the qualities of determination and persistence. He honors her commitment by carrying on her legacy as a passionate hospitality educator.” This scholarship assists a first-generation college student, majoring in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management. The donor wishes to recognize the recipient for their commitment to their community, involvement in extracurricular activities and passion for the hospitality and tourism profession. The annual award is $1,000. Adeline Kubitz Scitex America Corporation Scholarship Scitex Corporation is a world leader in digital imaging solutions for graphics communications. The scholarship is awarded to a junior or senior cross-media graphics management major. The annual award is $200. Taiyah Tarter
