Carl and Laura Seitz Endowed Business Administration Scholarship Carl Seitz was a 1947 Stout graduate and was president and CEO of Welder’s Supply Company in Beloit, Wisconsin, for many years before retiring to Arizona. Carl and his wife, Laura, created this scholarship for juniors or seniors majoring in business administration. The annual awards are $1,000 each. Kirstin Anderson Lucas Lindquist Kaelen Bailey Aaron Sims Maisie Cramer Jennifer Strand Blessing Joseph Madelyn Tesch Kennedy Kleist Sentry Insurance Foundation Student Leadership Scholarship The Student Leadership Scholarships are designed to help and encourage individuals with proven leadership potential who choose to pursue careers in business, finance, accounting, math or computer science. Sentry’s purpose in sponsoring the scholarships is to provide quality educational opportunities for the best and brightest students. They wish to help develop individuals with vision, creativity and dedication to lead all sectors of society. Sentry believes that by supporting the education of gifted young people, they are investing in America’s future. The annual awards are $2,500, and the scholarships are renewable as long as the recipients maintain a GPA of 3.3 or above and continue to pursue a degree in one of the required majors. Luke Gauvin Heather Kent Amanda Giesen Ella Prew Briley Hansen Alexander Stolzman Nathan Hastreiter Andrew Voge SHES Minority Scholarship This scholarship was established through funds from the former School of Human Environmental Sciences to support a minority undergraduate or graduate student enrolled in one of the following majors: dietetics; early childhood education; family and consumer sciences education; food science and technology; hotel, restaurant and tourism management; human development and family studies; MS family studies and human development; MS hospitality and tourism; and MS food and nutritional sciences.
