Sittko Family Annual Scholarship Lindsey graduated from UW-Stout with her bachelor’s in psychology and a Master of Science in Applied Psychology. Stout gave her the solid foundation for a career in human resources. She still quotes Dr. Baughman “People don’t stay at a job for money, they stay because they feel ownership in the organization.” Lindsey would like to encourage the recipient to stay involved on campus and to study abroad. This scholarship is awarded to a student majoring in psychology with a 3.0 GPA or above. Preference will be given to female students. The annual award is $1,000. Breanna Pence Lee Smalley Memorial Scholarship Lee Smalley was a lifelong learner and a passionate educator. Lee retired from UW-Stout in 1992 after a 28-year tenure in the Career and Technical Education program (originally known as Industrial Arts). He instilled in his students, the importance of questioning and challenged them to be inspired and motivated learners. This scholarship is to help a graduate student seeking any education- related degree. Lee would be honored to support teachers as they continue to improve not only their own education but also the education of their students.The annual award are $1,000. SMC LTD, Plastics Engineering Scholarship SMC Ltd. is a medical device contract manufacturer with a core competency in injection molding. SMC was founded in western Wisconsin in 1988 and has become a global company with 11 worldwide locations and headquartered in Somerset, WI. The SMC Ltd. Plastics Engineering Scholarship supports full-time Plastics Engineering students, with a minimum of GPA of 3.0, and are residents within 100 miles of UW-Stout. Recipients should be students enrolled in Plastics Engineering, beginning their freshman year. Mary Huntzicker Snyder Scholarship Mary Huntzicker Snyder, a 1946 Stout graduate and retired teacher, passed away in 1995. Mary’s sister, Jane Huntzicker, a 1944 Stout graduate, contributed the unrestricted funds for the scholarship as a tribute to Mary’s love of education. Jessica Hansen Danielle Schott
