Annual and Endowed Scholarships

Marion Saari Vukelich Memorial Scholarship Marion Saari Vukelich graduated from UW-Stout in 1950 with a major in home economics education. She taught for many years and established this scholarship through a bequest to provide financial assistance to deserving students.The annual awards are $1,000 each. Morgan Arch Madison Rood Gus Wall Endowed Scholarship Dr. Wall was a professor of education at UW-Stout for many years. He was also director of admissions for the graduate college. This scholarship provides funds for a graduate student with a major in technology education or career and technical education. The annual award is $600. Heidi Erickson Letitia Walsh Fellowship Letitia Walsh, a faculty member at Stout from 1920 until 1944, established this fellowship to enable an individual with an undergraduate degree in family and consumer sciences education to pursue graduate studies in an education major. The annual award is $1,500. Christine Cobb Sauer Cora Sunde Walters Memorial Scholarship This memorial scholarship was established by Cora Walters’ sister, Mrs. E.B.L. Eckberg. Cora graduated from Stout in 1928 and taught in several Wisconsin schools. This scholarship is awarded to an education major, and the annual award is $300. Payton Schneider Bob Ward Endowed Photography Scholarship Bob Ward was a UW-Stout faculty member. This scholarship recognizes outstanding achievement in the photography area and memorializes Bob Ward’s tradition and style. The annual award is $100. Cali Scholes
