2021 Scholarship Reception Booklet

Wenner/Reisinger Scholarship This scholarship was created by Dave, 1962, 1967, and Patricia Wenner Reisinger, 1961, 1967, to honor their respective parents who were creative, giving people. Both sets of parents enjoyed their educational endeavors and set an example for their children and grandchildren to pursue education and lifelong skills. Preference is given to a student who is studying abroad. If travel is suspended or no students qualify, this scholarship will be awarded to a junior or senior student with a 3.0 GPA or greater. The annual award is $1,000. Joey Lange Robert and Darlene Wernsman Annual Scholarship Robert (Bob) and Darlene Breheim Wernsman graduated in 1962. They both worked to pay for their education while at UW-Stout. They know the importance of education and wish to provide financial assistance to a student who is in need. This scholarship provides support for a student in family and consumer sciences or technology education. The annual award is $1,000. Tyler Kadlecek Essie K. Wesenberg Scholarship This scholarship was established through a bequest from the estate of Essie K. Wesenberg who received a diploma from UW-Stout in 1921. Essie was very proud of her education and credited her success in her careers to that education. The scholarships are awarded to students with a major in the College of Education, Health and Human Sciences. The annual awards vary.
