Mary J. Crownhart Endowed Scholarship Mary J. Crownhart, a 1974 Stout graduate, died in 2002 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Mary’s entire life was dedicated to serving and helping others. Through her estate plans, Mary created this scholarship for graduate students majoring in school counseling who are involved in professional and/or other organizations. The annual award is $1,000. Kaitlyn Keech Estell and Nelda Curry Scholarship Estell and Nelda Curry were both 1931 graduates of Stout. This scholarship supports an early childhood or family and consumer sciences education major. The annual award is $500. Anna Johnson Reinhold and Borghild Eng Dahlgren Endowed Scholarship Reinhold Dahlgren and his wife, Borghild Eng Dahlgren, graduated from Stout 100 years ago in the classes of 1917 and 1918. With a firm belief in the value of education, they became teachers in the Detroit school system, working their entire careers as industrial arts and home economics educators. They left their entire estate to UW-Stout to help other students receive the education they treasured. The annual awards vary. Tyler Hauge Quincy Muzik Tamara Landing Giaolong Nguyen Elijah Meehl Lowry Dallin Promising Student Annual Scholarship Jacklyn Dallin, a 1968 UW-Stout graduate with a B.S. in home economics education, established this scholarship in appreciation of the education she received at UW-Stout. She hopes to help an incoming first-year student financially by starting the student out on the path to reaching the goal of becoming a teacher by renewing the scholarship for an additional three years if the student maintains the established criteria and follows the normal Foundation scholarship process of applying. The annual awards are $1,000 each. Madeline Binczak
