Margaret Harper Scholarship Margaret Harper taught food science at Stout from 1943 to 1967. This scholarship was established in her honor and is awarded to a senior family and consumer sciences education major with a 3.0 or above GPA. The annual award is $100. Autumn Trzaskowski Gary A. Hartmon Memorial Endowed Scholarship Colleen Hartmon Bollom, a 1988 applied mathematics graduate, established this scholarship in memory of her father Gary. With Colleen being a first-generation college student, Gary encouraged her to apply to UW-Stout. He valued UW-Stout’s mission of educating students and preparing them for a career upon graduation. Gary unfortunately couldn’t see her attend and graduate from Stout. He died of cancer before Colleen graduated from high school. However, he would be proud to see UW-Stout has stayed true to its mission of preparing students for the workforce, as evident by UW-Stout’s emphasis on co-op and internship work experiences while in college and high career placement rate upon graduation. The annual award is $800. Jasmyn Collins Ober E. Haug Endowed Scholarship Ober Haug obtained his industrial arts education degree from UW-Stout. He was a true craftsman and enjoyed teaching, designing, and building furnishings for his home. Ober’s daughter, A. Louise Haug, established this scholarship in his honor. This scholarship is awarded to a junior or senior engineering technology major with a 3.0 or above GPA. Geraldine Raisler Hedberg Endowed Scholarship Geraldine Hedberg was a 1951 UW-Stout graduate. She and her husband, Donald, were owners of Lab Safety Products Company in Janesville, Wis. Geraldine was a proponent of education and a generous donor to UW-Stout.
