C. Robert and Helen Krause Endowed Scholarship Bob Krause,1939, believed UW-Stout provided an outstanding education, not only for him, but for his daughter too. His time at Stout was a pivotal time for him. He wanted to make the same education available to students in the future through scholarships. This scholarship was established by Bob and his wife, Helen, for a student from La Crosse, Wis. with financial need. The annual amount is $400. Elijah Forer George F. Kress Packaging Scholarship Green Bay Packaging Inc. has established this scholarship on behalf of the Kress Family Foundation. This scholarship is intended to support UW-Stout and its efforts to further packaging-related programs and the development of future packaging professionals. The scholarship is awarded to one junior and one senior packaging major. Recipients must be Minnesota or Wisconsin residents with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Annual awards are $1,000 each. Mariah Kent Sarah Webber Cheryl Kruschke Endowed Scholarship Cheryl Kruschke, a 1974 UW-Stout graduate, established this scholarship to be awarded to a student pursuing a degree in dietetics. Cheryl had a successful career in dietetics, and her favorite part of the field was being able to interact with patients. She wishes to provide financial assistance to students who are interested in the dietetics field. This scholarship is awarded to a student majoring in dietetics with a 3.0 GPA or higher and financial need. The annual award is $1,000. Michaela Hansen Marvin and Janice Kufahl Endowed Packaging Scholarship Marvin Kufahl, B.S. 1955, M.S. 1956, began his teaching career at UW-Stout in the metals department in 1956. In 1964, he was asked to develop and teach a new program in the field of packaging, a task he continued and enjoyed until his retirement in 1991. This endowed scholarship has been established to honor his years of service to the packaging program. The scholarship is awarded to a full-time sophomore, junior, or senior packaging major with financial need. The annual award is $1,300. Rebecca Schipper
