John and his three-man crew were killed in 1967 flying the lead helicopter while engaging ground forces in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. This scholarship is awarded to a full-time plastics engineering major with demonstrated financial need who exhibits leadership in student activities, and has U.S. military involvement. Advanced Molding Technologies Plastics Scholarship The Advanced Molding Technologies Plastics Scholarship was established to support incoming first-year students enrolled in the plastics engineering program, and to attract more students to the program.
