Annual and Endowed Scholarships
Multicultural Student Scholarship The Multicultural Student Scholarship was created by UW-Stout to assist with its mission and commitment to the recruitment, retention, and graduation of students of color. Students are eligible to be considered for one of these scholarships if they are of African American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian/Pacific Islander American, or Hispanic American descent; are a citizen, national or legal permanent resident of the United States; have attained a cumulative high school GPA of 3.0 or higher; will be enrolling for the first time at UW-Stout as a full-time, degree-seeking, first-year student; and have demonstrated leadership abilities through participation in community service, extracurricular, or other activities. Recipients receive $2,500 per year for four years providing they meet continued eligibility requirements.

Rita Murkowski Endowed Scholarship Rita Murkowski was a 1977 UW-Stout graduate who passed away in 1991. She was employed in the packaging design field.This scholarship is awarded to a junior or senior female student majoring in packaging with a 3.2 or above GPA. The annual award is $100.
