Annual and Endowed Scholarships

Helen and Alfred Siever Endowed Scholarship The Helen and Alfred Siever Endowed Scholarship was established through a bequest from their estate to assist students seeking a degree from UW-Stout. Helen Taylor Siever graduated from UW-Stout in 1940 with a degree in family and consumer educational services. These scholarships are unrestricted. The annual awards vary. Jessica Christiansen Giaolong Nguyen Maisie Cramer Benjamin Prigge Joshua Elmer Kiaya Schroeder Cannon Griner Hans Stelpflug Daniel Johnsen Madelyn Tesch Preston Leigh Christopher Vasterling Michelle Luu Evan Zaves Taylor Mancl Sigma Lambda Chi Scholarship The Sigma Lambda Chi Scholarship was established to recognize outstanding students in the field of construction. This scholarship is awarded to a junior or senior construction major with a 2.5 GPA and financial need. The annual award is $400. Daniel Amundson Sigma PI Fraternity, Inc. Endowed Scholarship Sigma Pi Fraternity disbanded on the Stout campus, and a portion of the profits received from the sale of the fraternity house provided this unrestricted scholarship. The annual award is $100. Zachary Helget Earl and Shirley Simmons Scholarship Earl and Shirley Simmons established a graphics corporation which they operated for many years. Earl passed away in 1991, and Shirley wished to acknowledge their passion for the graphic communications industry by establishing a scholarship endowment. This scholarship is awarded to an incoming first-year student from the Midwest with financial need who is majoring in graphic communications. These scholarships are renewable if a 3.0 GPA is maintained.
