Stout University Foundation Scholarships

Troeller Family Scholarship The Troeller Family Scholarship is in appreciation of all UW-Stout faculty. Specifically, in honor of Harold H. Halfin, a Stout State College Professor, veteran and mentor. Professor Halfin dedicated his career to encouraging students to develop not just vocational skills but life skills. This scholarship is for any student who majors in industrial education or engineering, in addition to be an active duty, retired, or honorably discharged military service member, or the child of an active duty, retired, or honorably discharged military service member from any branch of the military. The annual award is $1,000. Kennedy Johnston University of Wisconsin-Stout Psychology Scholarship Funding for the UW-Stout Psychology Scholarship was provided through contributions from alumni, faculty, Psi Chi, and the Psychology Club. This scholarship is awarded to a junior or senior psychology major with a 3.0 GPA. The annual award is $600. Jenna Van Dreser Gerald and Joan Vandervelde Graduate Scholarship Dr. Gerald and Joan Vandervelde established this scholarship to assist graduate students in the M.S. Education program and non-degree seeking students in the Graduate Reading Teacher Certification program. The annual award is $500 Ambyr Lemke Katherine Berns Van Donk Endowed Scholarship The Katherine Berns Van Donk Scholarship was established by Evelyn Van Donk Steenbock, a 1925 graduate of UW-Stout. This scholarship is in memory of her mother and acknowledges the encouragement and support Mrs. Steenbock received from her mother as she completed her degree. The scholarship is unrestricted, and the annual award is $500. Connor Nelson
