Dr. Nasser Hadidi Applied Mathematics And Computer Science Endowed Scholarship The Dr. Nasser Hadidi Applied Mathematics and Computer Science Endowed Scholarship was established by UW-Stout alums Kerry and Tracy Hafner in recognition of Dr. Nasser Hadidi, professor of mathematics at UW-Stout. Kerry, an applied mathematics graduate, was inspired by Professor Hadidi’s teaching and mentoring to pursue a doctoral degree in biostatistics and a life-long career in pharmaceutical product development. This scholarship honors Professor Hadidi for the positive impact he had on many students throughout his teaching career. The scholarship is provided to encourage students to continue their education and seek careers in applied mathematics, statistics or data science. The scholarship is awarded to a sophomore or higher applied mathematics and computer science major with a > 3.3 GPA or above and demonstrated excellence in core mathematics courses. The annual awards are $2,000 each. Ryan Fagnant Jackson Feggestad Douglas H. Hahn Memorial Scholarship Doug Hahn, a 1991 UW-Stout applied mathematics graduate and a board member for the Todd and Amy Rogers Foundation since its inception in 2004, passed away on Jan.17, 2020. This scholarship was established by the Todd and Amy Rogers Foundation to honor Doug. This scholarship is available to a junior or senior applied mathematics and computer science major with a 3.0 or above GPA. The annual award is $1,000. Yoonseo Park Donald Haile Endowed Scholarship Donald Haile, a Menomonie resident who recognized the importance of an undergraduate degree, left a portion of his estate to UW Stout to provide unrestricted scholarships.
