2022 Scholarship Awards
Charllotte V. Nehring Janeczko and Dr. Robert J. Janeczko Endowed Scholarship After graduating from UW-Stout in 1963 and 1965 respectively, Robert Janeczko and Charllotte Nehring Janeczko taught for many years in Illinois and Iowa. A second career led them to purchase a successful injection molding business. Both Robert and Charllotte attest to the fact that education principles contribute strongly to the daily operations of manufacturing. Based on this knowledge, they have established an endowed scholarship for students in the plastics engineering major with a minimum GPA of 2.5 for current UW-Stout students and a minimum ACT score of 25 for incoming first-year students with a financial need. The recipients of these scholarships demonstrate leadership in student activities and active participation in community service projects. The annual awards is $7,500. Adam Thompson John A. and Kathryn M. Jarvis Dunn County Scholarship John Jarvis served as vice president of Academic Affairs at UW-Stout from 1962 1973, and was acting president in 1967. Kathryn was involved in the community and was active in UW-Stout’s International Student Organization and the UW-Stout Faculty Wives. This scholarship assists a student who is a Dunn County resident and pursuing a major in business administration, construction, engineering technology, cross-media graphics management, information and communication technologies, information technology management, manufacturing engineering, or packaging. The annual award is $1,500. Ally Neidermyer Robert O. Jeatran Memorial Scholarship Bill Stewart established this scholarship to honor the memory of his friend, Robert Jeatran. A respected leader in Dunn County, Jeatran had a firm belief in the importance of giving to and providing assistance to others. This scholarship is offered to a vocational rehabilitation major with a criminal justice concentration from Dunn County who has demonstrated leadership in student activities and has been active in community service programs.
