Career Services
UW-Stout’s Career Services is the nexus of the university’s polytechnic students and their industry and business employers. Each year, Career Services plays a central role in connecting Stout students and graduates with professional networks and employment opportunities that result in the university’s distinct employment statistics. Among its central responsibilities, Career Services provides individual student support though virtual and in-person engagements, including appointments covering a wide range of career and professional development topics. In addition to managing UW-Stout’s pioneering Cooperative Education & Internship Program (CEIP) and its fall and spring Career Conferences, Career Services makes class presentations and provides access to a suite of online career-focused resources, including: Handshake: Industry-leading student and employer engagement technology that facilitates professional network connections and career outcomes. Co-op & Internship Portal: Cooperative Education & Internship Program academic enrollment and management platform. Going Global: International job and career research tool. Big Interview: Interview practice tool incorporating a step-by step applied learning framework to improve interviewing skills.
