Be Part of the Community

To be an active participant in the Honors College, we ask you to do two things each semester: participate in the Colloquium and attend an Engagement Event . That’s it. We encourage you to attend our various other events and activities, study and socialize in the Honors Lounge, live in the Honors Living Community, and be a part of our vibrant Honors community. Being an active participant will help you succeed and flourish at Stout. It will also make you eligible for priority registration. COLLOQUIUM

Each semester we gather for a lively discussion about our common book. You’ll eat soup, converse with friends, meet other curious people, and tackle subjects you might not have even thought about before. ENGAGEMENT Every semester we nudge you to explore something new. Choose at least one interesting activity from our Engagement Events calendar, which may include film screenings, plays, outdoor adventures, service projects, lectures, and other events.
