A DINING PLAN DESIGNED FOR RESIDENTS > Select the Baseline dining plan that best meets your needs.

DINING DOLLARS

Dining Dollars Plan were designed by University Dining Service (UDS) for students living in the residence halls. It provides contracted meal service at two cafeteria locations on campus. The university requires all residence hall students participate in a Baseline Plan with four plans to choose from. Plans are issued on a per semester basis.

Dining plans are broken into two parts:

Board Fee This is a per semester cost paid by each student living in the residence halls. It is used to meet non-food operating costs of cafeterias. These costs include such things as: mortgage/rent, utilities, labor, supplies, maintenance, insurance and administrative overhead. The cafeteria locations are maintained to offer each resident the opportunity to obtain high-quality, nutritious, traditional meals.

Dining Funds These are the initial funds deposited in your Baseline Plan account and are accessed with your Stout BlueCard. The funds are used to make purchases of food at any UDS operation on campus. Baseline Plan participants pay only food cost for cafeteria meals at either Commons or North Point cafeteria locations but will pay full cash price at other dining locations.
