The University Long Range Plan is an inclu sive planning process that is invested in shaping the organized growth and devel opment of campus. The completed plan assessed buildings, roads, parking, walk ways, open spaces and more to make campus even more vibrant, dynamic, con nected, usable and beautiful. Here’s an update on projects we shared in Outlook 2024, as well as recent projects. Heritage Hall The fully-funded $144 million renovation of Heritage Hall broke ground in September — a project that will directly benefit Wis consin’s workforce needs in hospitality and tourism, mental health and wellness, child care and education, food science, disability and rehabilitation services. More than 2,000 students and nearly 100 faculty representing 29 academic programs pass through Heritage Hall each year. The renovation of the 133,000-square-foot, four story building will double the number of students served annually.
