Transfer Counselor Update

TRANSFER STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher from your previous institution • Must have declared major in UW-Stout undergraduate program (online students do not qualify) • Transferring between 24-90 credits • Admitted to UW-Stout by June 1, with nal transcripts due the second Monday in June • Complete your FAFSA to be considered for any need- based scholarship decisions Each recipient will receive $1000 with half the amount awarded in the fall semester, and half in the spring semester. Scholarship dollars are limited, and not all eligible transfer students will receive a scholarship. Scholarship recipients will be noti ed in mid-June. PHI THETA KAPPA SCHOLARSHIP • Transfers must be members of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society at their two-year college • One $2500, and two $1500 scholarships will be awarded • This scholarship requires an application and recommendation letter due the second Monday in June STOUT FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS The university and its foundation award more than $800,000 in scholarships every year to outstanding students. Awards range from $250 to $9000. The scholarship listing and applications are available online at: www.uwstout.edu/scholarships-listing. The application deadline is the rst Monday in February.
