FITNESS Seeing higher participation and expanding collaborative opportunities in the Strength Competition, Poker Walk, Blue Devil Run/ Walk, Wellness Week, and Free Week activities. Part of the success with our events is likely attributed to our collaborative efforts with campus and community groups.

POKER WALK 132

We were also able to nurture a variety of relationships through our group fitness program through special reservations. Our staff taught in various indoor and outdoor settings on campus as part of individual reservations and larger event efforts (i.e.; Earth Week).

FREE CLIMB FRIDAY 512

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

- New event, Halloween Climb took place during Free Climb Friday. - Homecoming Open House was a huge hit, 30 attendees. -Set up 2nd auto-belay that has improved customer service and greatly enhanced our climbing gym’s accessibility. - Partnered with the Provost’s office for the first time and held our “Paddle with the Provost” trip on Lake Menomin. This has been a challenging year for Stout Adventures. We have spent most of our time analyzing & reformatting the current safety, training, & reporting models that have been in place from past years. These efforts have limited our potential progress towards growth & increased programming. Our hope is that this process will lay the groundwork for enhanced safety, efficiency, & professionalism in all aspects of Stout Adventures.

STAFF IN - SERVICE As previously stated, in-services were developed to utilize more advanced scenarios that would require the guards to work in groups and utilize multiple skills just as they would in the event of a real-life emergency situation!

AQUATICS PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

- We are happy to report that we saw great numbers this spring and when combined with our fall numbers the total visits for the academic year returned to our typical norms and resulted in the second-best year of attendance (data spans back 6 years to 2011-2012)! - Spring semester usage was up over 12% from the fall. - Partnered with Intramural Sports to offer Canoe Battleship and Water Polo.

The pool served the local National Guard and the English as a Second Language (ESL) Club this academic year. As a result, we hope to find other campus organizations that would desire to utilize the pool to further spike new interest and grow our participation. COLLABORATION
