ADMISSIONS CRITERIA
Academic preparation and success are the primary factors considered for admission to the university. No single factor, attribute or characteristic will be used to determine admission. Admission will be based on multiple criteria including academic and personal achievements. Nonacademic criteria can make a good applicant strong, however, they will not make an academically weak applicant admissible. UW-Stout has extended being test optional to the 2024-2025 academic year. Students will not be required to submit test scores as part of the application process but may choose to submit test scores if they would like.
TO APPLY, SEND US: • A completed UW System application, available online at apply.wisconsin.edu OR A completed Common application, available online at www.commonapp.org • High school transcripts • Optional: A copy of your ACT or SAT score
