ATHLETIC AFFILIATIONS

UW-Stout, an NCAA Division III institution, is a member of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC). As a Division III university, our student-athletes compete without the benefit of athletics aid or scholarships. They compete for the love of their chosen game. The WIAC has captured more NCAA national championships than any other Division III conference in history. As of June 2021, the WIAC has captured 117 NCAA Division III championships.

The Blue Devil gymnastics team is affiliated with the National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA).

FEATURED COACH “ NCAA Division III athletics is a microcosm of life, providing student-athletes the opportunities to develop and refine the skills they will use to succeed for years to come. For example, student- athletes learn to maintain balance between their academic and athletic commitments, and to evaluate choices and make decisions to reach their long-term goals. Ultimately, the greatest rewards that collegiate athletics provides student-athletes is the opportunity to make lifelong memories, reach unimaginable heights, experience intrapersonal growth, and develop a support system for the next 40-plus years!”
