eStout Laptop Program Frequently Asked Questions What laptop do I need? Don’t worry about it. Eligible students get an Apple or HP laptop depending on their specific degree program, and after two years, we’ll swap it out for a newer model. What software do I need? It’s all taken care of. In addition to the full Microsoft Office Suite, you’ll get access to industry-aligned software that’s tailored to your career path. What if I need tech support? You’re in good hands. Our on-campus tech team is ready to help you troubleshoot any problems, and we’ll provide you with a loaner laptop until your computer is ready to go. Do I get to keep my laptop when I graduate? Absolutely. After two years, you'll exchange your laptop for a newer model, and when you graduate, you’ll get a re-imaged computer that’s yours to keep.
