Stout University Foundation Scholarships

Xcel Energy Scholarship Xcel Energy has been a major influence at the university as one of the three associates in the Stout Technology Park. They continue to support UW-Stout students by providing unrestricted scholarships. The annual awards are $500 each, Rebecca Gaspord Emily Humphrey Zabel Family Endowed Scholarship This scholarship was established by Chris and Cheryl Zabeland their daughter Caitlin, to support UW-Stout students working toward a career in hotel, restaurant and tourism management, early childhood education, or special education. This scholarship is a reflection of their life-long passion in quality education and a strong belief in the importance of serving others. The recipient will have a 3.0 GPA, financial need, and involvement in community or service organizations. The annual

Mark Zipperer Pride Hospitality Scholarship Mark Zipperer is a graduate of UW-Stout’s hotel, restaurant and tourism management program and is president and CEO of Pride Hospitality LLC. This scholarship is awarded to a hotel, restaurant and tourism management major with a 3.5 or higher GPA who also has community service involvement. The annual
