John J. and Mary L. Kay-Heisler Education Endowed Scholarship The John J. and Mary L. Kay-Heisler Education Endowed Scholarship is in appreciation of Mary’s 1956 UW-Stout B.S. in home economics education. John and Mary established this education scholarship in gratitude of the education and mentoring she received from her professors in family and consumer science which allowed her to excel in her UW-Extension career. This scholarship is awarded to a full-time education major. The annual awards are $1,000 each. Peyton Bork Anna Johnson Floyd Keith Endowed Scholarship Family and friends established a memorial scholarship in recognition of Floyd Keith who taught metals at UW-Stout for 38 years. This scholarship is awarded to a student majoring in technology education with a metals background. The annual award is $200. Richard Fonk Mike and Pat Kell Packaging Endowed Scholarship Mike Kell began his career in the corrugated box industry in 1966. It was an industry that both he and his father believed in; they knew that with hard work, it could provide a very rewarding future. Mike and Pat Kell established this scholarship to help a student learn more about the corrugated box industry and its importance in manufacturing. The annual award is $1,100. Catherine McHugh Paul E. Kell Family Corrugated Packaging Scholarship Paul E. Kell was the owner of Kell Container Corporation in Chippewa Falls until his death in 1978. The company was then managed by Paul’s sons. The family of Paul Kell funded this scholarship in his memory to assist an outstanding packaging major with a preference to a junior or senior. Preference is also given to those from Dunn, Eau Claire, or Chippewa counties. Recipients must have financial need and participate in a student packaging organization. The annual award is $1,000.
